The number of people injured in Russia's large-scale attack on Kyiv has increased to 76. Twenty-four people remain hospitalized, including two children.
According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced the update on Telegram.
"Nineteen people were killed as a result of the enemy attack on the capital. During the night, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 12-year-old boy and his mother from beneath the rubble of a residential building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district," the statement said.

Klitschko added that 76 people were injured in the capital.
"Twenty-four of them remain hospitalized, including two children," he said.
July 7 has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv in memory of the victims of the massive Russian attack.

As Ukrinform previously reported, during the night of July 6, Russian forces launched a large-scale drone and missile attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region. Earlier reports indicated 19 people had been killed and 58 injured.
