Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 1,222 attacks on the Donetsk region, damaging 14 civilian objects. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties.
According to Ukrinform, the regional police reported this on Telegram.
"On April 19, police recorded 1,222 Russian strikes along the front line and in residential areas of the region… Fourteen civilian objects were damaged, including one residential building," the statement said.
It is noted that the cities of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, the settlement of Bilenke, and the village of Mykolaypillia came under fire.
In particular, in Kramatorsk, Russian forces dropped a KAB-250 bomb, damaging an educational institution, two administrative buildings, and an enterprise.
In Druzhkivka, a Russian FPV drone damaged a nine-story residential building.
In Mykolaivka, an administrative building was damaged.
In Bilenke, a Russian FPV drone struck a civilian car.
As reported, on April 18, four residents of the Donetsk region were injured due to Russian shelling. The region remains under constant attack by Russian forces, with civilians killed and injured almost daily, and homes, businesses, and energy and gas infrastructure damaged. Donetsk region has the longest front line, about 300 km.
