Units of Ukraine's Defense Forces have struck facilities at the Mariupol Sea Commercial Port.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces announced this on Facebook.
The Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Special Operations Center "A", carried out strikes on infrastructure at the Mariupol port.
The port was being used by Russian forces for military logistics, as well as for the illegal export of Ukrainian grain, coal, and metals to Russia.
As a result of the strike, energy, repair, and administrative infrastructure of the port was damaged, along with facilities supporting port logistics.
Following the attack, the port was left without electricity. Russian capabilities to use Mariupol as a logistics hub have been significantly reduced.
Ukrinform reported earlier that Russian authorities have introduced restrictions on passenger transport along the route through Mariupol due to the threat of Ukrainian drone activity.
