President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Sunday, June 21 that Ukrainian defense forces executed a series of long-range strikes against Russian military logistics, the oil industry, and air defense systems.
In a Telegram post, Zelensky characterized the operations as “fair responses to brutal Russian strikes against our people,” expressing gratitude to the Security Servive of Ukraine (SBU), Unmanned Systems Forces, the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR), and the Special Operations Forces for their coordination.

He noted that the operations targeted facilities on both sides of the Kerch Strait, specifically citing maritime logistics in the Krasnodar region and an oil depot in occupied Kerch.
The president also confirmed the successful targeting of military logistics routes, four radar stations associated with S-400 systems, and two “Pantsir” air defense complexes.
Strikes on strategic refineries and ports
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) provided specific details regarding the operations. According to their official statement, Ukrainian forces struck the Tyumen (“Antipinsky”) oil refinery on June 20. The facility, located more than 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, is one of the largest refineries in Western Siberia, producing diesel and gasoline for the Russian military. The results of the strike are currently being verified.
