Israel will mark Memorial Day for its soldiers killed and victims of terror attacks on Tuesday, with the central ceremony taking place at Mount Herzl military cemetery in Jerusalem following a two-minute siren that sounded at 11 A.M.

Last week, more than 100 bereaved families called on lawmakers and ministers not to speak at Memorial Day ceremonies in military cemeteries. In a letter sent to all coalition members, they urged them to "sanctify life, not the ethos of sacrifice."

Al Arabiya reports U.S. and Iranian delegations arrive in Islamabad; Iranian state TV denies

The preparatory delegations of the United States and Iran have arrived in Islamabad ahead of the round of negotiations expected to take place on Wednesday, as reported by the Saudi Al Arabiya news.

The report said that, according to Pakistan, the talks are progressing positively and the participation of both sides in the negotiations has been approved.

Iranian state television denied the reports, saying that no delegation from the country had arrived in Islamabad.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Lebanon's Shi'ite community would "pay with the loss of homes and territory" due to Hezbollah's actions, drawing comparisons to the destruction in Gaza's Rafah and Beit Hanoun, blaming it on Hamas, and echoing recent statements suggesting Israel could retain captured areas in southern Lebanon.

"If the Lebanese government continues to fail to fulfill its commitment, the IDF will do so by continuing military activity."

A 16-year-old Palestinian cyclist was killed Tuesday after being struck by a car on Route 60 near Hebron, police said, adding that an investigation has been opened into the incident.

A security source said the vehicle belonged to a protection unit and was en route to secure Israeli Minister Orit Strock ahead of Memorial Day events. Local sources identified the victim as Mohammed al-Jaabari of Hebron.

Trump-led Board of Peace taps Dubai logistics firm for Gaza reconstruction

Representatives ‌for Donald Trump's "Board ‌of Peace" have ⁠held discussions with ⁠state-owned Dubai multinational DP World about managing supply chains and other infrastructure ‌projects in ‌Gaza, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing three people familiar with the matter.

An Israeli airstrike killed at least three people in western Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, health officials at the territory's Nasser Hospital said early Tuesday.

Earlier, the Israeli military said that the Air Force killed two Hamas operatives in strikes on Sunday and Monday in central Gaza.

According to the IDF, a Hamas operative responsible for manufacturing weapons was killed in a strike on Sunday. On Monday, the statement said, an Israeli strike killed an operative planning on carrying out an attack "in the immediate time frame."

Report: Trump not expected to extend cease-fire with Iran beyond Wednesday

U.S. President Donald Trump is not expected to extend the cease-fire with Iran when it expires on Wednesday, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal citing an official White House source.

Trump warned this week that without reaching an agreement, Iran is expected to face strikes on essential infrastructure, including bridges and power stations.
