No one was hurt and workers were evacuated, he said. Makhonin did not identify the facility. The independent Telegram channel Astra, citing local Telegram channels, reported that the drones had been heading toward an oil refinery in Perm.
The Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ reported a fire at the Perm linear production and dispatch station, an asset of the Russian state pipeline operator Transneft. That report has not been confirmed.
Ukrainian drones also struck the Orenburg Region overnight into April 29, regional Governor Evgeny Solntsev said. Several industrial facilities were hit, he said, without providing further details. According to an analysis by Astra, the targets included the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Orsk.
