Trump is probably not only a Russian asset but an agent.
Israel was the victim on Oct. 7, 2023. That does not justify its brutality in Gaza, the settlement of the West Bank, or its unilateral attacks on sovereign states.
The International Criminal Court has rightly labeled the current Prime Minister of Israel a war criminal. The ICC has issued an arrest warrant against Benjamin Netanyahu. The ICC is not anti-Semitic. Netanyahu and the Israeli Defense Forces have earned that moniker. Innocent civilians, children and women – some 50,000 –perished at the hands of the IDF in Gaza. Many more starved to death.
Israel and the United States started the current war against Iran. The two states conspired to attack Iran despite diplomatic efforts. More than 1,000 Iranian civilians have been killed in the first 2 weeks. Israel further decided to attack Lebanon, ostensibly to destroy Hezbollah. Lebanon is still a sovereign country. In addition to Hezbollah, Israel has killed hundreds of innocent Lebanese civilians.
Naturally, no one condones the Iranian regime, its supreme leaders, Revolutionary Guard, and other agents of criminal behavior. No one laments their demise. Nevertheless, despite inept statements by US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth about “stupid rules of engagement,” the criminality of the Iranian regime does not justify the criminality of America and Israel. Both current regimes in Israel and America seem to think that it does.
America is Israel’s closest ally. That is all well and good, provided both countries are not led by criminals and respect international law and rules of engagement.
Now, it seems that America is Russia’s closest ally. No one in the world has aided and abetted Vladimir Putin more than Donald Trump in the last year. Stretched-out “peace talks” initiated by the Trump administration, wherein Ukraine is pressured to agree to Russia’s demands, have given the Russians carte blanche to bomb Ukraine indiscriminately.
The most severe language Trump used regarding Putin and Russia since Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20, 2025 was that he was disappointed by Putin. There has never been any condemnation. The United States has voted with Russia against Ukraine on many occasions at international fora such as the UN General Assembly and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
What scares me the most is what Russian spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said: “International law is dead.”
The three leaders most responsible for this are Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.
I am anti-Russian because the culture of the Russian people themselves is imperialistic and brutal whether the leader is Putin or Peter I. I am not anti-American, but I am anti-Trump. I am anti-Netanyahu, but not anti-Semitic or anti-Israel.
America and Israel need to recognize that they should be a part of the democratic and civilized community of nations guided by principles of international law and rules of engagement and not rogue regimes.
