General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made a working visit to the active combat zone in the Oleksandrivka sector.
According to Ukrinform, he announced this on Facebook.
“I made another working trip to the active combat zone. I visited military units carrying out missions to repel the Russian Federation’s armed aggression in the Oleksandrivka sector,” Syrskyi noted.
He heard a report from Major General Oleg Apostol, Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Air Assault Forces, on the situation in the area, the results of the work carried out, and the fulfillment of previously defined tasks. “We discussed options for further action and adjusted the plans,” the Commander-in-Chief noted.
Syrskyi also visited the 95th Polissia Separate Air Assault Brigade, where he received a detailed briefing on the situation in the area of responsibility and made the necessary decisions to resolve issues.
The paratroopers are conducting active defensive operations and doing everything possible to prevent the enemy from advancing and gaining a foothold, the general emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, Syrskyi visited military units carrying out combat missions in the Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Kostiantynivka sectors.
